How to measure pin sizes on excavator buckets

As a lot of you will know, with the range of machinery available, understanding what’s what in our industry can be confusing at the best of times. Not to mention the industry specific abbreviations like ibe and ctr which probably seems like a foreign language to those who are not in the know.

I tend to find this particularly true when I talk to customers over the phone and try to explain what we need to measure on a machine or existing attachment so we can find the right sized gear to suit their requirements.
As they say, a picture tells a thousand words – so to help with some of the confusion and explain what to measure on a excavator bucket, we have created a short video outlining what we need from you.
