I often get asked how we know what buckets and attachments to order. I wish I could say that we utilise complex spreadsheets and detailed algorithms to decide, but the honest answer is, I don’t really know.

Generally, the team at AU Buckets tries to keep several of each type of bucket or attachment in stock to meet the steady demand from our customers. And while this is great in the real world, we can come unstuck when the market takes off and the demand for buckets escalates – just like we have seen over the past few months.

So, while there are no algorithms in sight, I do look at what the market is doing and try to predict what might sell in two- or three-months’ time – as this can be how long it takes from ordering to receiving our buckets.

This week we received our most recent order of 180 buckets and attachments so let’s hope my trusty crystal ball got this one right and we can fulfil every order in the coming weeks.
